The International Commission on Health Care Certification ® (ICHCC® ) is the oldest and largest certification agency in the United States and Canada for Life Care Planning and in the United States for Medicare Set-aside Consultants and allocators.  

The Certified Life Care Planner® (CLCP® ) is not just the oldest, but also the most widely held certification in life care planning. The CLCP® examination, a rigorous test of knowledge and skills, was first administered in March of 1996, ensuring that all certified planners are at the top of their game.   

All of the listed persons under each credential category have participated in a peer-review process involving their training program peers or ICHCC® peers, and have passed a validated examination focusing on the respective service delivery specialty area.
